Beer ferments ideas. Marta and Mireia 'Les Xuts' have many, and they certainly love beer, too. Loyal to their own rebelliousness, they didn't want a conventional wedding. Lovers of good music and partying in general, their goal was to arrange their own festival with some of their favourite artists. […]
Participants were not given an invitation to a typical wedding. Instead, they received a wristband that allowed them to access the premises of the celebration, lost in the middle of a forest in Les Guilleries. In such a breathtaking environment, the Nòmades Market Foodtruck set its stop. The first concert started right on time for the vermouth.
At the entrance of the premises, the actors and staff from Nòmades made sure that the alcohol levels of the guests was 0.0, so we could track their evolution through more than 12 hours of relentless revelry. Miquel del Roig's guitar set the tone from the beginning to make you lose your composure. They wanted a colourful festival, as if we were speaking of a real rainbow. They sure had it!
Among the repertoire of Foodtrucks in the market, we set up a gastronomical area suitable for the elderly who, despite their preferential location in the area, also lost their composure. Thousands of moments and ideas flew from the speaker cabin (Reggie), a common feature of our Nòmades parties. The speaker broadcasted a personalised radio programme, were we narrate and conduct all of our shows so that the participants in the party don't stop interacting among them with music, games and amusement.
Foodtrucks provided a never-ending supply of food with a wide variety of dishes for every taste - from delicious bites of different kinds (sushi, Mediterranean pinchos, smoked meat, BBQ, high cuisine proposals from restaurant +Gresca in Barcelona) to some select sweet bites. At the same time, cocktails were served at the bar, although the spotlight was surely taken by 'La Taverna', exclusively dedicated to beer, with several craft beers on offer.
In a nutshell : What a festival!
